The rating reflects the degree of compliance of the regional management system and its decisions with the goals of sustainable development in the fields of ecology, economy, social policy and management.
The results of the assessment can be used by public authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation to adjust their own activities, as well as by enterprises and institutions to improve their work and use the experience of more successful regions.

The final rating score for each region consists of the sum of indicator scores distributed over three blocks. Each of the blocks has a specific weight in the overall rating

Depending on the results, each region receives a value on a scale from 0 to 1.
The better the situation, the closer the score is to 1, and vice versa. These ranges are assigned a letter grade: from C ("insufficient compliance with environmental, social, and governance standards") to the highest level of AAA.
